Editorial Reviews

1. Shadow, Shadow -- 2. Sheffield -- 3. Farmacia -- 4. Regal Regalia -- 5. Hornett -- 6. Papering Fix -- 7. Leeds -- 8. Fire On Corridor X -- 9. Outs -- 10. Mil Mil -- All the Saints are: Matt Lambert - Guitar/Vocals; Jim Crook - Drums; Titus Brown - Bass/Vocals Produced by Ben H. Allen (Gnarls Barkley, Animal Collective, P-Diddy, Christina Aguilera) and All The Saints. Don't be fooled by the piss-stained mattress on the cover, the debut from this Alabama-raised Atlanta-based power trio is moderately clean for one of Atlanta's most thunderous groups. All The Saints not only commanded their control of volume and intensity, but with their debut album have proven their abilities in composition and arrangement. These ten songs often flow together, creating a fully-realized conceptual album, without being a "concept album." The stellar production of Ben H. Allen (Gnarls Barkley, Animal Collective, P-Diddy, Christina Aguilera) compliments their abilities as players and singers. Reference points include Loop, Gun Club, Verbena, In Camera, Federation X, and Swans. The band has earned fans in groups like Deerhunter, Battles, and A Place To Bury Strangers.

Hello World, really great new band kinda reminds me of Dead Meadow with more drive and less stoner? I have it shuffling in my player with Caustic Resin(Meds All Gone) and Big Sleep(Sleep Forevr) really great mix. You can sample their songs on the net...get with it!!! This is a drummer from "Hell" band. This fella could beat the crap outta a boil peanut bag and remain clean. Black Angels, Dead meadow, Darker My Love, Tiger Bear Wolf, Jehu and Hot Snakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best new album I've heard in years, May 9, 2009
This review is from: Fire On Corridor X (Audio CD)
If you like a wall of sonic distortion, unlkely catchy anthems and vocals that are John Lennon-esque (when Lennon was sreaming like on Instant Karma or Yer Blues)then check it out. If you want a sample of what I'm talking about, download the title track. If you don't get what I'm talking about, then you are too young to get the Lennon reference and not wothy of this work.
