Fire Fighter I & II (Exam Prep) (Exam Prep (Jones & Bartlett Publishers)),

This review is from: Fire Fighter I & II (Exam Prep) (Exam Prep (Jones & Bartlett Publishers)) (Paperback)
I recently bought this book to prepare myself for the Florida State Fire fighter equivalency written exam. I have to say it was helpful in, helping me find my weaknesses, but very few questions that were on my exam were in this book. It has been 7 years since I had went through fire school, so I had forgot alot. Overall, the book did help, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs to find their weaknesses. The book has great references for a number of books, so you can look up the questions you get wrong and review the parts you are weak in.

Very well researched. I have given this book to several of my trainees to help them prepare for the state FF I & II test. They have all come back stating that this book was the most help they had in preparation. Some questions on the state test were word for word out of the book

Really Good Exam Prep Guide,
This review is from: Fire Fighter I & II (Exam Prep) (Exam Prep (Jones & Bartlett Publishers)) (Paperback)
Chances are you're looking at this book because one of your instructors recommended it. I took my written exam this morning and I really think this book helped me score much higher. A large number of the questions on the exam were word-for-word from this book. The format is quite helpful. There are a number of practice exams in it, with answer keys that actually reference the most commonly used Firefighter textbooks by page number. When I got a practice item wrong, the answer key told me exactly which page to check out to find out why I was wrong. You should seriously consider getting this book for your firefighter I or II.

Our son purchased this book to prepare for a department test. He stated that some of the questions were taken verbatim and that one of the quizzes was word for word from the book. This book helped him know what to expect and he not only passed his written exam but received an offer !! VERY helpful !!

Excellent prep for Virginia Firefighter 1,
This review is from: Fire Fighter I & II (Exam Prep) (Exam Prep (Jones & Bartlett Publishers)) (Paperback)
My husband used this prep book to prepare for Virginia's Firefighter 1 test. Only two or three questions on the state exam were not in this book and the rest were identical to the questions in this book. For the Virginia test I highly recommend it.
