Great book for the little firefighter to be!,

If your little one sees himself as a rope carrying, axe wielding fire fighter, then this book is sure to become one of their favorites. The book contains well illustrated pages along with some brightly painted transparent pages that can be turned or peeled to find objects underneath. There are a lot of discussion points as well as scenery where your child can really use their imagination.
For instance the first peel back is a vibrant red fire engine and underneath are the fire fighter's tools of the trade--a life ring, flashlight, stretcher, ladder, fire hose and container of foam. All safety items kept on the truck. You'll find an explanation along with wonderful illustrations on how fire was discovered. Again, a great book for the fire fighter to be or the child that perhaps is getting ready to visit a fire station. |
