Seth Kinman's annual Leonid party becomes exciting when an apparent meteorite strikes a nearby pond. Jane Toombs, the Viking from her past and their calico grandcat, Kinko, live on the south shore of Lake Superior in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula wilderness. Here they enjoy refreshing springs, marvelous summers and colorful falls which is enough to get them through the miserable winters. The Viking is a retired geologist and water well driller, while Jane is a retired nurse. Kinko has decided not to retire even though she's fifteen years old.
Jane is eging up on ninety published books and hasn't counted how many novellas and short stories lately. She writes in all genres except men's action and erotica, but paranormal with or without romance is her favorite She does prefer happy endings, though.
