Funniest, sexiest Francine Rivers novel,
By mialexa (California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: A Fire in the Heart (Paperback)
Absolutely hilarious book. The Aussie hero is utterly sexy. The heroine is everything that we could wish for in a romance character funny, smart, and feisty. The plot reminds me of the HBO series Deadwood. It is a gem in the shining collection of Francine Rivers novels. Get thee a copy as quick as you can!

FUN STORY,
This review is from: A Fire in the Heart (Paperback)
Storyline set in the good old West complete with a bad guy mistreating everyone in his path. Hardheaded and opinionated Amnesty Brown comes to town seeking her inheritance and meets another hardhead, Haydn Lomax. Sit back and enjoy the fireworks, this is a light, fun loving read!

A Fire in the Heart and in the Soul,
By Emma Louise "masterreadermi" (Eagle,Michigan) - See all my reviews
This review is from: A Fire in the Heart (Paperback)
I think that A Fire in the Heart was written before Francine Rivers decided to become a full fledged Christian writer. There are illusions to the following of Christ but not in a strong manner. However, the romance part of it is very hot and lights a fire in the readers soul and heart and other areas too. It reminds me of a typical Harlequin romance novel. Good story for a light read!
