great mix of Egyptian music for dance,

I'm a professional American Cabaret bellydancer and even though i tend to stray away from traditional Egyptian songs this cd has a great mix of newly recorded tracks that are extremely dancable. It includes Classical, Saidi and Balady peices, all of which are presented in a way that makes them easy to transform into full show worthy music. The DVD that goes with this is also pretty good, Ansuya's performances are great.

Sure was disappointed in this CD. It's supposed to be on fire, but it wasn't even a simmer.

I like to belly dance, couldn't really use any of the songs for anything. There are way better cds and albums out there.
