Format: Paperback
As a pescetarian (I eat seafood but no other meat), I'm usually very skeptical when I see grilling/bbq books declaring that they're "for everyone"--usually it just ends up being one little chapter with a grilled salmon recipe or some portabello burgers. Fire it Up is a wonderful exception to this rule. Not only is there a massive chapter on fish with some great recipes (red snapper stuffed with feta pilaf is a current fave) and a chart with guidelines for how to grill different types of fish, there's ALSO a whole other chapter devoted to crustaceans. Plus there are tons of veggie, fruit, and side dish recipes. Both me and the meat-eating boyfriend are very pleased.

Along with our first grill, I bought my fiance this book. He loves it! Anything he would ever want to make is in here. It even shows you how to grill fruit, something I've been wanting to try. Whether you've been grilling for years and want some new recipes or, like me, you've never grilled before, this book is the perfect companion for your summer lunches and dinners.

I saw this in a store and knew it was the book for me. Purchased it on Amazon for 13$ less than the store wanted for it and it was the best grilling book by far! Its a great idea as a gift for a dad that you don't know what to get. It has everything you could imagine of grilling from Flank steaks, Scallops, pizzas, and even some desserts!

As my family prefers the old school charcoal grill taste to convenience of gas grilling, this book is a great reference for all things grilling. You'll find marinates, mops, rubs and recipes for grilling everything from meat, fish, poultry, fruits, vegetables, you name it!

400 recipes for 16 bucks? Not too shabby. Since I just bought a grill, I've only tried a few recipes so far, but they were huge hits. At first I was most excited about the pork recipes, but there are so many other delicious-sounding options in here that I may have to branch out from my pig-centric cooking. I don't think I'll need another grilling book for a while.

This book is a MUST have for anyone who likes to eat tasty, grilled, creative food! Dave and Andy know how to explain the inner workings of the grill so that i can extract the most flavor from my food. Now i feel like i can FIRE IT UP!

I grill all year long. My best meals are cooked on the grill. This book is by far the best grilling cook book I have. the recipes are creative and delicious. Many of the recipes call for brining. And I have brined some; most I do not because I don't have that kind of time. Even without the brine these are exceptional recipes. You will love this cook book!
