And it's good-looking, too--gorgeously retro, opaque with a milky pale-green hue. From oven to table, it will fit in whether the setting is casual or semi-formal.

The tempering means that heat will be evenly distributed during baking, even at high oven temperatures. Tempered glass is also good in that it doesn't hold or transfer flavors. Two broad side handles make for a balanced grip; just make sure and use potholders because they will heat up in the oven during baking.
