The list of songs you have for Fire on the Mountain 2 is the same as for Fire on the Mountain (1). You may want to look into this.

A Great Party Disc,
By A Customer
This review is from: Fire On The Mountain: Reggae Celebrates the Grateful Dead, Vol. 2 (Audio CD)
What a trip this disc is! I used to be pretty uninterested in the Dead- if it was on, I'd listen, but thats about it. Then I happened on this disc! I love it. I remarked to a friend at how happy the reggae makes the songs seem- and she pointed out that they always were happy! I have a new appreciation for the band after hearing their songs interpreted this way! Standouts are "Shakedown Street" by Marcia Griffiths, "Sugaree" by Gregory Issacs, and "Birdsong" by Ken Boothe!

Good Tribute,

I don't review many music CDs but have been listening to a number of Dead tribute abums. The reggae artists did a good job with this one-if you like The Grateful Dead and like reggae, you will enjoy it. It's good enough that I'm sorry I haven't been able to find Volume One at a reasonable price.

Another Grateful Dead exploitation album,
By jpolsgrove@sahuarita.k12.az.us (Tucson, Baja Arizona) - See all my reviews

Once again, reggae musicians who are not familiar with the Dead are brought together to play their music. Considering their lack of knowledge, they do a so-so job. But the Dead's music was in the soul, man! The people who put this out are just capitalizing on the lingering longing for the Grateful Dead. Avoid this and buy Dick's Picks from the Dead themselves!
