If you are looking for inspiration before you start creating your backyard dream, this book is it! Lots of great photos that will give you ideas of what can work in your outdoor space. Fireplaces, wood-burning ovens,outdoor kitchens and much more.

That's all. You may be able to get some inspiration from this book, but you could do that by just searching the internet for pics. There are no plans for anything you see. If you do like something and want to build it, you'll have to go elsewhere for the details. I wouldn't have bought it if I'd seen it first. 3 stars for the pics/quality and I did get 1 good idea.

This book has lots of nice pictures, but no design details.
It is basically a big picture book. I would have liked to see a lot more substance.

I should have taken the time to read the reviews on this book before I bought it. It is indeed only a picture book. I was so very disappointed. More at amazon because I found this book in the 'how to' section and it clearly does not give any information on how to do anything. Someone wandered around taking pictures, put them in a book and that is it. This is something you browse thru at the bookstore and leave on the shelf because of the ridiculous price and the fact it is utterly useless outside of doctor offices or the local library.
Don't waste your money adding this to your collection. go to the library and check it out if you must, but I am sure a brief two minute look see will be all it takes to gain any inspiration from a book that is totally unusable.

Lots of pictures, but none of which are very useful ... kind of "plane Jane" to be politically incorrect. I was hoping to see more creative designs.

Very nice book. It gives you some great ideas on backyard fireplaces. It helped me!!
