Book Description

September 1999
Like fire in a wax museum, the Holy Spirit is melting false religion and the traditions of men and remolding the Church into a vessel fit for the challenges of the twenty-first century. From an Episcopal church in Florida to international ministry, this awe-inspiring story tells how the Holy Spirit caught a denominational church and its pastor by surpise during the Lakeland Revival. The fiery revival that is spreading around the globe today will challenge you, change you, and demand that you make new choices. This true account tells of both the joy and the persecution of genuine, Heaven-sent revival. It will make you hungry for a closer, more intimate walk with the Lord.

Editorial Reviews

Review

Fire in the Wax Museum is the story of an Episcopal priest, a minister of a parish in the central Florida town of Lakeland, and his journey into revival-into a personal revival as well as a ministry of leading others into revival.

Father Bud Williams was comfortable in his position as pastor when suddenly he was arrested by the Holy Spirit and catapulted right out of his comfort zone. Bud left the church as the pastor and stepped out to begin to "walk on the water," embarking on a Holy Spirit adventure that has taken him around the world.

Until the Lord touched him, who would have believed that he and I would be associated both as friends and as ministers of this unusual ministry! I count it a joy to know Father Bud; his sense of humor is uplifting and his outlook on life refreshing.

Father Bud and his family are members of our church-The River at Tampa Bay-and I am excited at what the Lord is doing in and through their lives. I believe that what you are about to read is only the beginning of what God is going to do in and through them.

Enjoy this book as you get a revelation of how the Holy Spirit can bring a fire into your wax museum! -- Dr. Rodney M. Howard-Browne, Tampa, Florida

This review is from: Fire in the Wax Museum (Paperback)
i would advise all church goers to read this book if they are hungry for the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. This book has shown me what I have been thinking for a number of years that many churches are frigid and need a great awakening to the fire of the Holy Spirit.
