By A Customer
This review is from: Fire & The Wind (Audio CD)
This one of the best releases of 1999! Demoniac have come a long way and made their best album to date! This is one of the best CDs i heard this year. For old and new fans, this album is a must buy. I am sure everyone who's got this totally agree with me. This album is awesome. Over the top guitar solos, pure metal, heavy, faster, CATCHY! METAL AT IT'S BEST! This one is gonna be big!

4.0 out of 5 stars CHEESE FEST, April 24, 2000
This review is from: Fire & The Wind (Audio CD)
This is one of the most entertaining albums I've heard in quite a while. This is a total flash back to the 80's. This album captures the true essence of being a METALHEAD(BOOZE,WOMEN & REBELLION). The playing on this album is really over the top. Really death vokills, shredding guitar solos. The scary thing is you know you should not like this but you just can't help it. Oh, quick note to all the guitar freaks check out their guitarist HERMAN LI, he can and will give ALEXI (CHILDREN OF BODEM) a run for his money!

5.0 out of 5 stars Epic metal at its best, May 22, 2002
This review is from: Fire & The Wind (Audio CD)
The album is a lot different then the two prior albums, but in a very good way. Pray for War had a great black metal sound, and Stormblade kind of sounded like Van Halen. The Fire and the Wind sounds more power metal then anything they have ever done. Think of Children of Bodom guitar style and vocals, cross them with the happiest sounding power metal band you can think of and that is what you have here. More or less they sound like Dragonforce--Herman's power metal band--only with black metal vocals. All the songs on this album kick serious [behind], especially Demoniac Spell, and Night Demons, and the middle solo in Daggers and Ice is incredible ... . Herman Li is also the fastest guitarist and best composer I have ever heard. Forget Yngwie, Steve Vai, Timo Tolkki, and Alexi Lihou; Herman Li has them all beat. The only thing I don't like about the album is the Nazi lyrics on some of the songs ... . I don't know if it is their attempt at a bad joke, but the lyrics on Myths of Metal could have been better; however, most of the lyrics all very good lyrics about booze and getting chicks as far as I can tell. All in all though, the album is very uplifting, the song writing is great, and the guitars shred. Highly recommend for fans of true metal. Bravo Herman.
Also check out Dragonforce, Herman's current band.
