Mr. Langford's book is a good, although much condensed, history of the Christian church. It has been used as a Sunday school text for junior high school age children. Although it is written in a simpler style to make it suitable for this age group, it is still readable for adults interested in an introduction to how the church developed. The copyright date is in the 1950's, before the changes made by the more recent ecumenical movements.
