This is an excellent book for any firearms instructor, especially Police instructor's.

It not only gives you written lesson plans and handouts it even provides some fairly simple to understand basics for the students. I had no problem getting the lesson plans approved by my department for use in our training/qualification.

Very good book for Firearms Training review. Simple, on target, and to the point. I am incorporating this book into our Firearms Training Program.

An instrutor need three items to accomplish his/her class requirment, that is - "to teach so it is learned!" Items 1 & 2 (the instructor's own skills & the location to teach) no book can give. Item 3 is a clear method of instruction and The "Firearms Instructor's Manual..."provides this. Allowing an instrutor to teach so it is learned by: clearly outlining the facts in a way that gives room to control what is said and when to state it. The only shortcoming seems to be a lack of other resourses listings.
