Firearms Investigation Identification and Evidence,
By
This review is from: Firearms Investigation Identification and Evidence (Hardcover)
Excellent book, very nice and clear black and white pictures and photoghraphs. First chapters talk about firearms and ammunition. Rest of the book talks about forensic evidence how is used in investigation of firearms crimes. It also talks about real cases and how the ballistic evidence was examined and used to solve these crimes. Remember that this book was written in late 50-ies and some equipment (microscopes, etc.) are more updated now. It is very well worth the $50 I spend on it. With this book I also recommend a Handbook of Firearms and Ballistics from B. Heard (it is little pricey but a lot of info about forensic investigations).
