I really like this bands other albums, this one lacks a bit of zing, i dont know..... its a good recording, good songs. Maybe i will listen to it some more.

I have something of an on-again, off-again relationship with Fireball Ministry. I loved Second Great Awakening, didn't get much out of Their Rock Is Not Our Rock, and am back on board with this album. The band seems to be more focused here, getting back to the thick stoner grooves and Sabbath-inspired riffage that worked so well for them early on. The songs on this album are a bit catchier, a bit more rocking, and are just easier to get into than they were on the last album.

There are a ton of stoner rock bands out there, but Fireball Ministry is one of the better ones. Whether you're a fan of old school heavy rock bands like Black Sabbath, Bloodrock and Grand Funk Railroad or newer bands like Clutch and the Company Band, you'll want to check out Fireball Ministry, and this is a good place to start.

Run dont walk to get this CD. As a 35 year metal head I have heard it all. This band has It all. GET IT! Get Their Rock Is Not Our Rock I bought the cds before and after. They are good but Their Rock Is Not Our Rock is the ONE!

I tried this album not having a clue what they sound like. What a gem. Reminds me of Black Sabbath but reworked into Fireball's own sound. I'll be listening to this for a while, it's different but the vocals and instruments are put together brilliantly. This is an instant classic.

I've got to say, I'm so glad to have picked this album up. I found out about this band because a member is in the Company Band. The music rocks on an upbeat yet mellow soulful level with the vocals at times very similar to Bob Welch. That's right, Bob Welch. With the 70s sound this album offers, I'm sure fans of stoner rock especially clutch fans or any fan of classic rock even southern rock should dig this gem. After all songs are heard, I can almost guarantee this album will repeat a few times before it's removed. Even when it is, it won't be long before it makes it's way back. For all you rock fans out there... Kick back, relax and enjoy an album that's not too heavy yet not too soft, and enjoy.

Fireball delivers an awesome album with a great sound. Do yourself a favor and buy this album....
