raw,rude,ugly & on fire!!!!, March 3, 2005

i took a chance on "fireball" recently after passing over it countless times cause there were no track listings here on amazon.when i received it today i was a little bit disapointed to read that there was one studio track that i had never heard ,a video edit of "dreadnaught day"from "ugly"& four live tracks.then i popped it in. i'm floored!!!! wargasm amazes me!! "fireball" track 1 is awesome & a bit of a mature departure from "ugly"s' topics. track 2 "dreadnaught day" video edit is just less of one of the worst songs from "ugly" ,but it still jams!! track 3 "wastland" & track 5 "revenge" are glipses into the "why play around?" lp from 86' ..instant classics!!! track 4 "enemy mine" is from "ugly" .i don't know where track 6 ,"grievous angel" came from but i feel its where bob mayo had definetly found his vocal formula..a relentless thrash masterwork!!! trax 3 thru 6 were recorded live during a radio broadcast on wmbr f.m. at mass. institute of technology in cambridge ma. don't let this detour you !! these guys popped outta the womb thrashin' .they make it sound easy. after writing this i found out that "fireball" is a cover of an old deep purple song.just thought i would add that!
