This review is from: Firebird 1967-81 (Chilton's Repair & Tune-Up Guides) (Paperback)
I've owned my 79 Firebird since the late 80s. I'm his second owner and have been keeping him showroom and running since I first purchased him. Chilton's has been an incredible source of information for my Firebird and I would suggest that anyone who has purchased an older car get a Chilton's guide for their vehicle. Educate yourself on its parts and learn what particulars your car has for its specific year. While many of the older GM models have "interchangeable" parts, this book is a good resource when investigating exactly what is making that windshield wiper arm move and what that part is called when searching through the mire of replacements. I highly recommend this book. It is key for the owner of classic as well as late-year cars.
