This book, like all Gary Witzenberg books is a fascinating and detailed delve into the behind the scenes machinations that produced one of America's most beloved pony cars. Filled with the kind of insider info you won't get anywhere else, this book is more than just a 15-minute read. Definitely one of the best out there!

This review is from: Firebird, America's Premier Performance Car: The Complete History (An Automobile quarterly marque history book) (Hardcover)
If you are interested in the history of the Pontiac Firebird this is a must have book for you. It covers all three generations of Firebirds with numerous pictures of prototypes as well as finished products. As the previous reviewer said, this is not simply a coffee table book with a bunch of pretty pictures but has some real meat in it and behind the scenes insight including how Pontiac went about making the Firebird different from the Camaro.
