'Twas the night before Christmas at the town's fire station, Where brave firefighters were gathering donations.
The same thing was happening in towns coast to coast, Firefighters were doing the thing they loved most:
Helping out kids and folks needing assistance, Answering their calls, regardless of distance.
At Christmastime, most of the treasures they sought Were gifts for the children, which many folks brought.
And as they worked hard on this night of all nights, The Governor rang up and said, "Something's not right.
"A sleigh has been spotted, there are deer all around With no one to drive them. St. Nick can't be found!"

I bought this a Christmas Eve surprise for my son who loves firefighters. We read the traditional Night Before Christmas book and then this is a surprise and all my kids really enjoyed and have asked to hear it again several times since Christmas Eve.
