My daughter had the original firefly phone and it worked fine, other than the 35 cent daily access fee is pretty expensive for an emergency use phone. I got the flyphone because as she's gotten older she wants to be able to send & receive text. The voice calls work fine on this phone and the menus are great, but the texting has only worked intermittently. I don't know if the phone or Firefly, but their customer service is HORRIBLE! When I called Firefly about the texting problem, it took them over a week to call back and then it only worked for a couple of days and quit again. I'm trying another carrier!! Google cell phones for children...
