I bought this for my mother, who is a fantastic pianist. She loves it and has had a great time learning and playing the various pieces included in this collection. In spite of being able to play many Chopin, Beethoven, etc. pieces, my mother has told me that, with the exception of the "River's Dance" piece, this collection is moderately difficult to play due to the syncopation in most of the pieces. So, this is probably a collection for more experienced players rather than beginners. Many, many thanks to the great and wonderful Greg Edmonson for putting this out.

When I saw this book in the store I flipped out! (Kind of like River when she saw Book's hair, but in a good way) My friend was looking at me like I'd grown an extra head as I picked up the glossy book and flipped through it laughing in glee. But all the same it made my day, I didn't know that this musical collection existed. I bought it on the spot, though I should have cooled my jets and bought it off amazon.com I would have saved money. I don't even play piano, I play the flute, but the arrangment is perfect and I can play the melody line and enjoy it all the same. My favorite piece to play so far is Inara's Suite. My friend who does play piano wants to learn some of the music since it is so pretty and we can play together. If you are a Firefly fan, a musician or have a friend who is this is a must-buy and essential for your Browncoat collection. Shiny!

When it arrived, my only disappointment was that there wasn't more. I've played through several of the songs and I have to say that this collection of sheet music is phenomenal. Every I learn a new measure, it makes me giddy. If you're a Firefly fan and you love to play music, this is must for you.

Good soundtrack -had nearly everything that I was looking for and the previous reviews helped me pick which tracks from the series I was looking for.

This no-frills song book (no extra pictures or other information) none-the-less contains all the music that you would want from the Firefly show, particularly of course, the theme song itself. A must have for Firefly completists, even if you're not a musician or can't read music.

So, I gave it four stars because I reserve 5's for outstanding, unearthly stuff, but this book is great. Easy to read piano music without being too simple and middle school student sounding. Definitely pick this up to impress friends while putzing around on a piano.

What can you say? This is exactly as described, no more, no less. Firefly fans no doubt would have liked some pictures and the score to "Hero of Canton". However this isn't a Firefly fan book, it's beautiful music.

For those familiar with Greg Edmonson's work and for fans of Firefly, this is indeed a Musical Treasure. Musicians will love these piano arrangements, and Fans of Firefly now have yet another collectible to add to their list. A big Thank You to whoever decided to publish this book!
