The music in this film is stunningly beautiful. The melody appears in various ways throughout the tracks, with the final track being a full bloom of all that has gone on before, an uplifting piece with heartbreaking violins. I never tire of listening, and it is always comforting and inspiring.

I just watched the movie again and went online to see about purchasing a DVD. I was worried the VHS would wear out and I won't have it. The music was wonderful and I wondered if it was a classical piece being used and watched the credits but did not find the info. So I went to Amazon to look it up. And I can't get anything but an Asian DVD and the music is not currently available! Am hoping to find it somewhere!

Firelight is a wonderful film. The soundtrack, which isn't commercially available, is beautiful and haunting, from the dramatic opening to the very last note of the last track. The main theme is interspersed throughout the soundtrack and, like the movie, is meticulously placed at key points in the music. I highly recommend it.
