This review is from: The fires of Glenlochy (Hardcover)
Marietta goes to Scotland to claim her inheritance. She finds that her elderly grandfather is under the sway of the charming Colm and the imperious housekeeper Mrs Drummond. On the way she meets Richard who is investigating the supposed suicide of his brother in the highlands. Marietta is not welcomed with open arms. As she delves deeper into the motivations of the people who surround her grandfather, she finds that all is not as it seems. Despite the formula of romantic suspense novels, Miss Heaven manages to make you care for the characters. This is high-quality romantic fiction with a few unexpected twists.
