Cool, but no Cigar....,

These definitely look kewl, but the acrylic is too soft, so the sticks flex as you strike. This provides an unpleasant "mushy" experience. Gripping them closer to the tip ameliorates the problem somewhat, but changes the dynamics.These are fun to show your friends, but not really ready for primetime.

These sticks are incredible, they are very durable, work very well and are well designed. I thought they might look "corny" but if used correctly, they are a tastefully done effect. When you hit the drum, it lights up Blue, then slowly fades over time. With constant hits, it will continuously light up blue on each hit, but remain lit between hits. I am very impressed, I will be using these in shows in the near future.
