BEST illumintated drum sticks PERIOD.,

These are so sturdy and able to withstand my abuse! I beat the crap out of my rock band and it is great, they stay lighted and also have NEVER even blinked while playing... The stick has basically 1 piece and then a cap on the bottom of the stick, not in the middle of the stick to break when you strike the drum. Get these and you'll be very satisfied, trust me!

I am very disappointed in these drumsticks. I bought them to use on a bongo style drum for one part of one song during my band's set. It's a gentle part, no hard hitting at all, and the light up sticks were to be a neat effect with the stage lights dimmed. The bottom of one stick flew off after 2 taps and stopped working, and the other one didn't light up at all, it just glowed a little at the bulb. I can't fix the broken one, the plastic is snapped. I guess these drumsticks are not actually supposed to hit anything!! Strange of me to think that I could use them on a drum, isn't it? Well, I guess I must have misinterpreted the description that tells you that they are durable and great on stage. I thought that meant you could use them more than 2 taps!! Apparently "durable" means 1 tap, not 2!! Man I'm an idiot for not understanding that one!! A total rip off!! I should have just stuck with my little daughter's drumstick that she got from Disney World. I've used that several times with no problem at all, but bought this one so I wouldn't ruin hers!

The batteries that came with it were dead. One stick did not light up at all, and the other was very, very dim. I ordered it for a holiday gift and expected them to be ready right out of the box. The exterior packaging does not give you the size of replacement batteries needed.
