Product Description

Coil-Rite air helper springs mount inside an existing open coil spring suspension. These air springs provide adjustable spring rates far superior to the standard coil spring. The durable polyurethane air springs will support 500-1,000 pounds per set. Coil-Rite air helper springs are made of durable polyurethane to withstand the rigors of coil-sprung suspensions. Each air spring is pressure tested before leaving the factory. Over 1/2 million cycle life test. The Kit includes air springs, air line, fasteners, inflation valves (manual inflation), supports (if required), push-to-connect air fittings and detailed instructions.

I had to exchange the first air bag kit I ordered that had a product number ending in *4155*, because although the Amazon vehicle product fitment page stated the bags would fit my vehicle, when I got them it was obvious that they were for a mini-van, not a 19000 lb. motorhome.
I looked up the Firestone product fitment page, and it showed that the correct product for the Chevrolet P30/32 chassis is the air bags that end with product number *4100*.
I quickly decided that the instructions in the box for installing the new air bags was not going to go well, so I dropped the lower suspension arm and removed the coil spring so I could get the old air bags out and install the new ones.
It is not a job for anyone who is not experienced with working on heavy vehicles, you could easily kill yourself, or anyone in the work area. Please don't try it if you don't know how. Vehicle could fall and crush you!
The air bags have a lifetime warranty, and seem very heavy duty with easy to install air lines.

Very prompt, fast service. Arrived just as described. Have not had a chance to install the item on our motor home, but everything looks as it should. This is a replacement for air bags already installed on the motor home

I have not really had a chance to try them out fully, but after a short drive they seemed to work fine. I was able to install them through the hole in the lower a-arm . The first one took about 4hrs but the second one only took an hour. The main factor is the temperature, the day I put them in it was about 20 degrees, I put them in hot water first, but they cooled fast, but with the aid of a hot air gun I was able to get them in. I am 68 years old and was able to get them no problem. Great item.

These are replacements for the same product installed in my GM P30 chassis 1988 Motor Home. They make a strong positive improvement in ride and handling.

Trying to install by twisting and pushing up into the coil springs is nearly impossible. Had to drop the springs to install these - but they work great and made a tremendous improvement in the ride of the motor-home.

Replaced old one from my 1995 Bounder Motorhome and they are great!! Easy to install, just make sure the bags are warm so you can get them small enough to fix!!! Cut old one out with Saws all
