Dull Formula Film, June 16, 2010
This review is from: Firewall (HD DVD)
"Firewall" is a movie that just does not have the spark to make it a thriller. From the start it is predictable and dull. Harrison Ford plays Jack Stanfield a high tech computer security system developer at a bank. All the real money is digital and can be moved by a tap of the computer keys. There is a lot of keyboard action and Jack shows he has thought of everything but the human element. His family is kidnapped and held seige in his Seattle home as the computer hackers follow his every move via camera and microphones.
Jack must protect his family yet satisfy the hackers that he is doing what he is told to transfer the bank's money digitally to their account.
Overall "Firewall" disappoints the thrill seeker.
