ATOMIC ROOSTER-one of the finest examples of progressive rock/heavy metal hybrid and this release is of remastered tracks from the period of 1970 to 1982. All tracks have been drawn from JOHN DU CANN's personal tape archive; he has also supplied unseen band photos of himself and the late VINCENT CRANE and the late PAUL HAMMOND. To the un initiated ATOMIC ROOSTER was a band that never fully realised their full potential. To the informed Atomic Rooster rate alongside DEEP PURPLE and achieved what very few heavy rock bands did at the time - two Top Ten singles.

This Atomic Rooster collection is really amazing! From guitarist DuCann vault's, you have a selection of great stuff. Songs are with different mix or live or unreleased,so this record is great for fans of the band...but at the same time it's a perfect introduction for who doesn't know Atomic Rooster. Powerful, dark, and hard in a very special way...
