4.0 out of 5 stars For the money its really cool
I bought one of these for myself as a cheap way to learn how to play a bass, having played a regular guitar for the last 20 years. So far, the Bass seems nice and solid. I would recommend buying a heavier cable than the one supplied for sure, but the instrument itself is very nice considering the price. We also have an elecrtic guitar made by First Act that we have had...

I would recommend buying a heavier cable than the one supplied for sure, but the instrument itself is very nice considering the price. We also have an elecrtic guitar made by First Act that we have had for three years. It has held up well and actually sounds better than some of my more expensive guitars, so I think as a brand they are actually pretty good. The First Act units are certainly a cut above the almost useless toy like quality of some guitars out there that are aimed at young people or beginners...I would definitly consider these real instruments!

I got this bass guitar for my 15th birthday, and while it's not a 200+ dollar guitar with lots of fancy knobs and a nice look, it's a great guitar for beginners who wanna learn to play the standard 4-string bass. And the price tag is decent too, considering some of the really good ones with a fancy nametag can run up to 730 bucks. So if you're looking for a good starter's bass guitar that won't leave a hole in your wallet, this is a good one to look at.
