don't you hate it when you open a tube of something you don't use often? the kids don't put the lid on right, throw the tube to the bottom lurks of the unknown drawer, or you question the freshness of the product. this solves all these problems plus you don't have to buy extra for your purse, first aid kit and bathroom. very handy to have around. great idea to have...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not satisfied
In theory this is just what I was looking for.... but I was very disappointed.

The packets are so big, with that small of an amount of ointment, it is hard to get it out. The packet should be smaller in my opinion.

Also the consistency of the ointment wasn't what I expected. I was using this for my husband's 2nd/3rd degree burn and it actually...

Also the consistency of the ointment wasn't what I expected. I was using this for my husband's 2nd/3rd degree burn and it actually hurt him to smooth this on. No other ointment we used has hurt while being applied. It hurt because it wasn't going on smooth, it was like binding to itself and the applicator stick, preventing a smooth application.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Price Great Product, June 10, 2011

I got these at a great deal, 3 boxes for under $13.00 so the pricing was great, the shipping charges are always an annoyance since I am spoiled by supersaver shipping but make sure to look at the shipping costs to get the real total.

All arrived in a respectable amount of time and without a packaging blemish. I really like the product itself and have them in all of my kits and make kits for family and friends too so it works well for me. I will say that they always under pack these. I was able to fit all three boxes into one with room to spare but I still have plenty.

The product itself is awesome and I recommend it for any home and any first aid kit or bag, if you just need it for home it is likely cheaper to buy a large bottle/tube at your local drugstore but you can't go wrong with this product.

A lot of health-care experts advise using Bacitracin instead of Neosporin because of the potential for an allergic reaction. Would it be too much to ask that some form of Bacitracin be made available in this handy form for people who like to shop on Amazon?
