In my estimate, these are a little sub-standard. Not as thick as others I've tried. I did not return it because it is what they said it was but the quality is not there. I will not purchase this specific item again.

This single-layer gauze is woven from thin, stretchy synthetic fibers. If you want to wrap around several times without adding bulk, this may be the product you want.

However, if you were looking for something absorbent and bulky to cushion a wound, keep looking. This product is nothing like Kerlix (that multilayered, loosely woven, cushiony-stretchy cotton gauze you might have encountered in an emergency room).

In the spirit of "buy it now, or spend way too much later," this is one of the items that fit the bill. These are sterile, very portable rolls of gauze...that are very inexpensive when compared to what is available in drugstores.

Combined with First Aid Only 1/2" X 5 Yd. First Aid Tape Roll, 20-Count Boxes, you can throw some of these rolls (which are individually packed) and a couple tape rolls in a first-aid kit as I have done, or a glove box, backpack, etc.

Plus, this is good to have around the house. Figure if you're cooking dinner and you rest your arm on a hot frying pan (ouch!) This, the tape, and some First Aid Only First Aid/burn Cream Pack, 0.9 Gram, 25-Count Boxes (Pack of 3)...and you're doing pretty well for yourself, minus the smell of your own burning flesh.

Fortunately, I haven't had to use one yet. They are exactly as described and I recommend these if you are looking for the best price online.

from the hospital, to the Dr's office, to Walmarts, nothing was a soft, well made and surprisingly cheap as this. it is comfortable, thin, tightly woven and as strong as the 6 ply I have seen. Great over gauze pad and next to the skin. I highly recommend. I am wrapping my feet after surgery.

They conveniently forget to tell that this is only 1 ply... usually I purchase 6 ply for about the same price.

Bandages are good for the price. Rolls are not very long, but adequate for most applications. The 4" width is great for use on legs.

You do get A LOT of gauze for the price, especially compared to and local retail chain stores. I received 2nd degree burns on both my legs and had to keep them wrapped in steril gauze for almost a month. Going through that much gauze i soon realized how expensive it was going to be to buy from a local store so I searched amazon and came across this. You get about double as compared to locally but it is VERY thin, see through gauze. If you have any drainage you will also need gauze pads...these are more to hold dressings in place.

I recently had a motorcycle accident and required medical supplies, it was just getting too expensive buying the stuff at the local drug store, or big box store.

The product I received wasn't the one pictured, but that didn't matter, it was exactly what I needed, and at a great price. The gauze rolls are the exact same ones on sale at say *VS or *al-*art, for two or 3 bucks a pop. I got 12 here for 7.50! It's a great deal, and I've even ordered another set because I'm going through it all very quickly, but now I won't break the bank doing so.

Also, shipping response time was fantastic, I had it the next day using Amazon Prime!

Makes the Boo Boo better! I would recommend this product to anyone in the world. Now I just need 20 words and I'm done!
