THIS IS A VERY HELPFUL BOOK FOR FIRST TIME FIRST AIDERS.
IT IS VERY EXPLANATORY AND PROVIDES LOTS OF VISUAL AIDS SO THE AVERAGE PERSON CAN LEARN FIRST AID.

Bought a book marked "New" and it was used. I emailed the vendor and this was the reply I received: "Book was absolutely brand new straight out of the shipping box! Not one scratch or mark on that book! It was in perfect condition & by the way it was way under priced for brand new! Put negative feedback if you want but that book was in perfect condition I stand behind my merchandise 100%." Obviously I'll never deal with this vendor again, and I'd advise others to be wary of doing so. I didn't tell the vendor why I thought the book was used, because I was curious what sort of reply I'd receive. Now I know; a dishonest one. The book looks "New" but how many "New" books have hand-written answers in blue and black ink pen to questions in the middle and at the end of each chapter? Not all chapters, but chapters 1, 2, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17, 20, and 21. This may be a common practice with some vendors; selling used books that appear in good condition as "New," since one can ask more money for them. Frankly, I'm appalled by the practice. And I'm equally appalled by this vendor's adamant defense of a dishonest act. From now on I'll buy only through Amazon, not through any of its Vendors.

i purchased this book of amazon for less than half of what the school was selling it for. as for the material in the book its extremely helpful and unlike other books i don't find myself falling asleep reading the text. the end of every chapter comes with very helpful exercises that seemed well thought out rather than those typical questions you find in textbooks.

This transaction was EXCELLENT! Fast shipping and the book was in better condition than I thought. This book was the cheapest price I found, yet the book looked brand new. Would definitely do business with them again=)
