Waterproof Seal to Keep Out Moisture
The chest comes equipped with a waterproof seal along the opening that keeps your valuables dry--even when the chest is fully submerged. This is great for protecting your documents if there's a fire and emergency sprinklers are triggered. The seal also enables the chest to float during a flood, keeping it up out of the water and making it easy to locate.
Fire-Resistant Design to Protect Your Valuables
The 2017F has been classified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) to withstand fires up to 1,550 degrees F for up to 30 minutes. Because most residential ¬fires last less than 30 minutes, the 2017F a good choice to keep documents and other important items safe in the event of a house fire. The chest has been independently verified to protect electronic media such as memory drives, CDs, DVDs, and external hard drives in a fire.

This chest features a durable composite construction along with a handle that makes it easy to carry. Other highlights include a clamping-style latch with a key lock to keep your valuables secure.
The 2017F measures 5.75 by 16.13 by 12.75 inches (H x W x D) and weighs 20 pounds. On the inside, it measures 2.91 by 13.23 by 8.58 inches and has a capacity of 0.19 cubic feet.
