Nice safe and all, when i received the safe the front door wasn't even lined up straight, which makes it easier to pry it open. The bolted edge was crooked which leaves the bottom edge almost a full inch away from the frame. Quality check apparently wasn't in that day, if they even have one.

This safe arrived in approximately 10-12 days after I ordered it. It was the perfect size I was looking for. The instructions,keys and shipping slip were all included. I was disappointed that the top left corner of the safe was dented. The damage was very minimal, so I did not bother returning the unit. I was also disappointed that the was no way to secure the safe to the floor. No mounting bolts or holes were provided and no mounting tips were mentioned in the instructions. This is an average safe for average security. I would say it's an entry level product.

I have this for a year and yesterday for some reason i could not be able to open it...so tried back up keys...it was locked and there was no way to open it....So guess what i did with one screwdriver and a hammer took me less than 10 minutes to break the door and open it...THIS SAFE IS NOT SAFE!!!! if i can open it less than 10 minutes ,imagine someone who knows what he is doing would do....MADE IN CHINA GARBAGE

Seems like Honeywell has a huge quality control problem. I am the second person reviewing honeywell safes on this site who received no keys. No master to open it, no keys for after it is progammed. Honeywells manual and their FAQ does not address where the the keys "should" be. They also have very poor customer serivce. I emailed them 24 hours ago - no response. They can just take this useless paperweight back at this point.

The safe arrived on time and in good condition. It is of a reasonable quality and works well.

The negative issue with the safe is that there are no holes drilled, no screws provided nor are there mounting brackets in the box, as stated in the description.

For as good as the safe is, it is essentially worthless since it cannot be mounted to the floor or wall and a crook could simply come in and take the whole piece away.

This safe fits my needs perfectly. The construction is solid and programming the combo is literally a 5 second task.
It couldn't be easier to use. I've owned a Sentry safe in the past, and it had nothing but problems such as jams and locking me out of the safe.
That is not the case with this First Alert. It comes with 2 override keys if you forget the combo.
The safe can be mounted to a floor or wall stud and includes pre-drilled holes and mounting hardware, which is a huge plus.
The weight is about 71 lbs and its actually a bit "roomier" than it appears to be in the pictures.

I looked extensively before buying this safe--I went to stores to check them out first and then looked on line and got better prices on-line. This one is perfect for college-not too big---not too small. It will fit his laptop and things like passports, etc. It's heavy enough that someone is not going to walk out of the dorm with it (I hope!!!) You can't bolt things down in college dorms so this one was about 65 to 70 lbs. which would make it hard to just run off with. It works so well-opens perfectly--simple to program the code to what you want. I am just so pleased with my purchase and the price was awesome!!! I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting a nice small safe.

The safe I ordered from First Alert would not set the combination at all, which is probably the most essential feature of a safe. Customer service is a joke, I called two days in a row and followed instructions to a T, only to have the safe lock out both times and the rep telling me to call back in an hour after the lock out had reset. A waste of time and money.

I purchased the Honeywell 2077D 1.21 Cubic Foot Anti-Theft Safe to have a safe storage area for my hand guns, and some personall documnets. Found it to meet all my expatiations and then some. Plenty of room for documents and what ever you don't want just sitting in a drawer. Comes with bolts so you can secure it to the floor.

This safe has done what it is required to do, protect my valuables. Battery life for the electronic panel is excellent, as I have been using it for more than a year with no replacement of batteries. The construction could have been better, as the metal casing is kind of weak (mine came with a small depression on the top side due to shipping), and they don't do a good job on packing this box to protect it from shippers; so you will want to inspect it very well when you receive it. The opening mechanism has worked flawlessly thus far. It is not huge, it has a good size to store many valuables and even some documents. For the price I say it is a good deal, and from my experience I would recommend it.
