purchased 3 of these items,(1)lasted about 2 months,no heavy rain during that time frame,order 2 more,heavy rain came,with lightening,wouldn't stop rotating,filled with water.one of the last 2 wasn't put together,parts were missing,still not rain proof,made cover for last one still working ok,send two back with details of damage.only received one replacement.Need much improvment for out door use

This device works, the wireless range is impressive, however the rotation speed was too fast, I had trouble focusing on anything.I purchase another unit that was $80 rotates much slower and is weather proof palmvid.com had it 4 yrs now and its been thru som serious weather. I ran a wire into the house with a toggle switch. This unit should be protected from the elements.
