The First Alert FTR960R 960-hour Time Lapse VCR is an advanced Video Cassette Recorder for use in most any surveillance or monitoring system. With 15 selectable recording modes, the FTR960R allows up to 960 hours of time-lapse recording on a standard t-120 tape. This unit features a carbon-coated drum that provides exceptional picture quality, an emergency back-up battery, and an alarm, panic, repeat and timer option. Complete with on-screen programming via remote control, the FTR960R can provide 24-hours of real-time recording with audio making it perfect for round-the-clock security-surveillance applications.

The First Alert FTR960R utilizes a four-head, two-video helical-scanning VCR head that provides 350 TVL (TV lines) of resolution in both black-and-white and color recording. This unit includes a built-in time-and-date generator, and contains a one-month battery backup power supply. The FTR960R also includes one alarm input/output connection, and uses a standard RCA A/V (audio/video) input connection. While the VCR runs on 100-volts with 24-watts of power consumption, the remote control operates on two (included) AAA batteries.
