4.0 out of 5 stars Great addition to Spanish Classes
My students enjoy making these books every year. I copy them front and back, and the children enjoy cutting, coloring, and stapling them together. We make word lists, flash cards, play charades, and read them aloud to one another. There are PLENTY in here to use from year to year.

I'd say ages 6 and up would enjoy these, through perhaps 5th or 6th grade...

3.0 out of 5 stars Simple and reusable
I liked the format and information the little books provided. I was misled by the cover of the book as it appeared on-line. I thought the books were in color. They are black and white. Other than that I thought the books were great for learning spanish with my son and reading to him before bed.

You can use these as a jumping off point for the children to make their own books next. In general, a GREAT resource. The only negative is the lack of phonetic spelling, so children are frequently mispronouncing words, and without a teacher there to help (at home, for homework, during "table time," etc) this causes problems when trying to "unlearn" the incorrect sounds.

But if you have a good grasp on the Spanish sounds, you'll have no problems. Highly recommend.

The comments on these books share disapointment that they are not in color. They are meant to be reproducible. I think they are a fantastic addition to my Spanish class. And, the kids color them!
