Top Cow has given us a story arch that entertaining and fun. What's great is that if you've never read anything having to do with the darkness or witchblade then your still ok, in fact, this is a good place to start if your not familiar with any of top cows characters. Long story short, the dark, the light, etc go to war hoping to tip the balance to their favor. Everything good about this book covers everything such as writing, art, story, etc, so I highly suggest that you give this a shot.

This book was great, the beautiful art and witty dialogue made it a real enjoyment. I would recommend this book to any witch blade fan. lots of action and very graphic. Altogether an excelent read

The story told in FIRST BORN is amazing. I loved the way in which the characters aree treated, I loved the presence of Jackie Estacado, and I loved the way in which old friends of the Top Cow universe come to meet and to clash on this story arc: The Angelus, the Magdalena, the bearers of the Witchblade and the Darkness.

This one is a powerful story, illustrated grandiously and with a great plot. If you're a fan of the Darkness or the Witchblade, as I am, you can't pass this one up!!!

This was the first paperback that I ever purchased and I must say i am an addict to them now. The story was great and keeps you entertain the whole way through. Highly recommended
