If you like music with crackling, hissing, popping and scratchy sound, then this is the CD for you. The real joke is that it's supposed to be remastered. It's a very good collection of songs, it's just to bad they were not really remastered. Enough said.

You need this cd, look hard to find this gem, which gives you a great overview from his pre-electric recordings, the red hot sides from the teens, thrugh the roaring 20's and ends with his mega hits of the 40's like
Anniversary Song. All his early hits are here in great remastered sound. Great overall cd, if you want just 1 cd of Jolson that covers his entire career, and the price is great!!! Exellent you can't find fault with this exellent cd!!!
