The Cape Cod II 4 in 1 Crib in a cherry finish combines a beautiful style, inspired by the architecture of early 18th century New England. This style is combined with the ultimate in functionality and safety. The crib features layered molding on the top rail and a beautiful grooved wainscot panel. The functionality of the 4 in 1 allows the crib to be a piece of furniture you can use for years to come. It converts from a crib to a toddler bed (kit included) to a daybed, and finally a full size bed (using standard metal bedrame) that can change with your needs. The Cape Cod 4 in 1 Crib has a single knee-release drop side, and fits standard crib mattresses (sold separately). The construction is sturdy with hardwood veneers. Most importantly, it complies with the Juvenile Products Manufacturing Association Certification Program and ASTM safety standards. The series coordinates with other Bassettbaby Cherry Cape Cod furniture items (sold separately).

I bought this crib loving the design alone. It arrived a little early (yay!), was easy to set up (I did it by myself since I couldn't wait for my husband to get home!), and the instructions were very easy to understand and well organized. It is a very beautiful crib-the pictures don't do it justice, still waiting for baby to get here to put her in it, and I would definitely recommend it!!

I received this crib and sent it back... twice. The construction is terrible. The parts easily break and with my most recent attempt of putting the crib together, the parts did not fit properly at all. IF you use any force whatsoever, you'll hear a crack shortly after. I could not imagine this crib ever making it past the crib stage. I would be terrified to loosen up parts and add the toddler railings. It certainly wouldn't withstand as a headboard.
The paint job on the crib was not consistent showing the wood coloring underneath. I was going to live with it, but once the parts did not fit together, I gave up completely. After 2 beds being sent to my house and unpackaging then repackaging, I soon realized... You get what you pay for! Too bad because it is such an adorable bed! :(

I bought this crib about 6 months ago to use as a toddler bed for my two year old and eventually a crib for the next child. It was easy-ish to assemble. My husband and I were able to do it in 30-45 min with the "help" of our two year old. The side rails for the toddler bed have worked great and my little boy doesn't fall out. They loosen really easily though, even after tightening numerous times. I haven't used the actual crib side but I hope it doesn't loosen as well. An easy fix if so. All in all it was exactly what I was looking for in color, construction, and versatility.

Great crib but arrived damaged
The headboard arrived damaged with a big crack. We contacted Bassset Baby and they immediately sent out a new headboard which arrived with super packaging. Read more

Exactly what I wanted
I would recommend this to anyone. It is exactly what I wanted and came right on time and was packaged well. It took about an hour to put together but I am very satisfied with it!

Love this bed....but TWICE received it damaged
We loved this bed for our first baby girl...when trying to get a second for our 2nd girl.... revived it damaged TWICE!! Amazon wont ship it a 3rd time.... Read more
