I love romance and reading romance novels. The scenes in this book were on fire! From the garage, to the shower, to the kitchen (and to anywhere else they just couldn't keep their hands off one another) all were narrated in vivid detail, maybe making a more prudent reader blush. I am not the modest type, so I LOVED it.

Being that I also enjoy suspense and drama I thought the smuggling ring plot a great addition. Along with the romance it all came together to create a dramatic story with an actual plot, not just the typical sappy story where woman meets man, they have sex, dance around their true feelings, finally admit their love and then live happily every after. Some readers may suspect the plot twist that comes toward the end of the story, but I was so caught up in the romance that it flew right by me.

My only complaint was the ending. I can't put my finger on it, but I felt something was missing, like the story ended too abruptly.

I'll be searching for more books by Anita Bunkley.

I enjoyed reading this story. I had read Ms. Bunkley's books before and enjoyed what I read. I loved Lori and Ramon. The book has romance, suspense and a little drama. I love reading stories where the man still protects his woman even when they are on the outs. I wish the ending was a bit different but still a good book.
