From School Library Journal
PreS--These titles based on the "Sesame Street" spin-off, should prove to be adequate companions to the TV series. Allegra is a preschooler with cheese puff/multicolored hair and a bright pink face (kind of like Miss Piggy's kid sister minus the je ne sais quoi). She has a daddy and an older brother. Her life--in these stories, anyway--revolves around her activities at Ms. Melody's Little Blue Day Care. The books, with their watercolor illustrations, are less mind-numbingly passive than the TV show, but that doesn't make them good choices.
