Was easy to assemble and is easy to use. The sound of water makes me think I am on the lake and the resistance gets harder the more I push. I love this rower and it gives me a great workout. It takes a lot normally to make me sweat and make my muscles ache, and the Pacific Rower did it!

After a little over a month, so far so good! Arrived 1 week early - always a bonus. Very easy to set up if you follow the instructions and don't assume you just know how to do it.

Motion is smooth and comfortable - what noise there is is just the sound of water. I have no problem hearing the tv whilst using this (and no, I don't have to turn up the volume). The first week was a real eye opener as to how out of shape I was - the rower really gets the heart pounding. After a little over a month of use (6 days a week) I've increased the amount of time I can row by over 500%, I have way more energy and I'm starting to lose weight. Very glad I decided to take the plunge and buy what for me is a very expensive piece of equipment.
