About the Author

The editor is Robert Van de Weyer, an Anglican minister in Norfolk, England, now serving a church committed to global spirituality, and formerly leader of the Little Gidding Community. He also lectured for twenty five years in Cambridge on economics, philosophy and religion, and has written and edited over 50 books on those subjects.

I purchased this book expecting a copy of the 1549 BCP. What I got instead was 1549 BCP based worship resource. They even changed the rubrics to make the worship services less confusing to modern worshippers. So, why not put a miniskirt on the Mona Lisa while you're at it? But that's my attitude. I want my BCP as Cranmer (and God) intended. If you want a 1549 based worship resource (though I am at a loss to imagine why anyone would want such a thing), this is a very handsome book.
