5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Horror Story I have ever read!
This was the first R.L. Stine book I had ever read, so I started reading it in my room at night with just a lamp on. It scared me half to death. I had to turn on my radio, tv, and computer just to get away from thinking about it. Seriously, read it and all it's sequels.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book is full of School Spirit and Spirits!, October 16, 2003

Cheerleading has never been so scary!
If you've ever read a R.L. Stine Fear Street then you'll probably think this book is fantastic as I did. As usual R.L.Stine has a way of writing that draws you in with wicked cliffhangers and the book is no chore to get through. Quick and fun these books make me at 20 want to reread all the ones I have. This one is about to sisters who move to Shadyside and join the Screa-excuse me I mean, Cheerleading team. This being Shadyside you know your in for extreme chills and thrills!

5.0 out of 5 stars If you're wondering wether or not you should read this book, August 5, 2003
This review is from: The First Evil (Fear Street Cheerleaders, No. 1) (Mass Market Paperback)
the answer is yes! This is the story of two new girls in town, twins named Bobbi and Corky. They join the cheerleading team almost right away, and make new enemies too-Kimmy, from the cheerleading team, for one. Then, one day, the team captain Jennifer is thrown from a bus and lands on top of Sarah Fear's grave. (Uh oh--a Fear. You know what that means!) Ever since that day, terrible accidents have started to happen-ending in murder. The team had better find out what's going on soon otherwise there are going to be sequels! :) Ha-ha. Highly reccomended! There are 6 books to do with these cheerleaders. Read them all!

Corky and Bobbi Corcoran are newcomers to Shadyside. Together, they become cheerleaders in Shadyside High. Bad things start to happen. Jennifer Daly is throw out of the bus and lands at Sarah Fear's grave. Fortunately, she survives. Unfortunately, worse things start to happen.

4.0 out of 5 stars WHooa memories, April 5, 2007
This review is from: The First Evil (Fear Street Cheerleaders, No. 1) (Mass Market Paperback)
Whooa, I think I still have all three parts of this series. I was a big R L Stine fan. I started off with goosebumps, and quickely moved to the fear street series. I had ALL of the books in the fear street series (this was in 92-97). I gave alot of them to my younger cousins or family friends, but reading some of these reviews, I may just have to locate one and take a hour (thats all it takes now lol) to read one(sad thing is, that I am an 26 yr old) LOL. I like the fear street cheerleader sage (even though I didnt know they had a fourth installment), and the Fear Street Saga (The very first 3, but I see they added ALOT MORE to the fear street history. Reading some of these reviews is like going back in a time machine LOL

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best!, May 27, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: The First Evil (Fear Street Cheerleaders, No. 1) (Mass Market Paperback)
I love this book. I had finished reading it and couldnt stop thinking about it. I first read it when i took it out of the library. But i had to buy it. My favorite character was Bobbi. I was so upset when she died. I have read all the cheerleader books and this is my favorite. I wrote a book that has cheerleaders in it but it is totally different. R.L Stine is a great author.

5.0 out of 5 stars Read em' All!!, January 24, 2004

This review is from: The First Evil (Fear Street Cheerleaders, No. 1) (Mass Market Paperback)
I've read all of the books in the cheerleader series (even though i'm not a fan of the particular sport) and let me tell you that they are addicting. The storyline and characters are original and when some of my favorite characters died I couldn't help but tear up a bit:( [Basically there is an evil spirit that takes over people's body and make them KILL...the problem is you never know who the evil has inhabbited and in the end you're eventually to late to stop them.
DEFINITELY A MUST READ!!
