My first graders loved the songs! I loved the songs! The content nailed the key concepts of the social studies and science curriculum for California schools but not the usual "school songs" way. You won't be disappointed.

I am a total lauren Mayer groupie! Her songs are so clever, catchy, fun and I wind up learning so much from these CD's. The production is great and I think the combination of smart ( but not talking down to the kids) lyrics, pop melodies with facts and figures that kids ( and adults) should know about is a winning format!
I look forward to each CD she does!

These songs are so witty and the melodies so catchy that you will be humming along as well as your children. It really takes rather dry subjects and makes them lively and memorable for young children. Just as Sesame Street updated old ways of teaching basic skills to a young audience, this CD teaches the traditional subjects in new ways that kids can relate to, enjoy and learn from. I hope these two sisters write more CD's so that other grade school kids can enjoy them...

This CD will hold first graders attention and they'll sing while learning first grade curriculum. The songs will stay in your and your first grader's head and you'll be singing them throughout the day as well -they're so catchy and fun!
