A great first person historical summary of German fighters in WWII. Tremendous detail from the Axis side of the war. Very factual.

Format: Mass Market Paperback
It was disappointing to find so much material from the original German left out in this translation. It seems as if the translator wished not to recognize many of Galland's protests against the policies of Hitler and Goering in the conduct of the air war, his inner sentiments, and a good deal about his early life.
