The illustrations in this book are gorgeous! It is so difficult to find children's books with really beautiful pictures, but this is one of the loveliest I have seen. The colorful pictures to the classic Mother Goose rhymes captivate my one year old daughter. The pictures are so colorful and detailed that there is quite a bit for a child to look at. Cute little bunnies, squirrels, cats and other wildlife bring the old rhymes to life.

I am very glad that this is a sturdy board book because it is read over and over and still looks as good as new! The handle makes it easy for my daughter to carry around. This book is a must for any small child! You won't be sorry.

My two year old has loved this board book since she got it! We read it 10 times every day. It is especially cute with the clasp and handle which, by the way, I was worried those would break and fall off from too much abuse. Happy to say the entire book is still in tact after months of use! My daughter loves to carry it around by the handle.

I've been reading this book to my daugther since she was born and at one year old it's still her favorite. She loves the bright, happy pictures of animals that are not overly simple but not too complex. Nice collection of Mother Goose rhymes that are short enough that she doesn't get bored and fun to read.

My nice neighbor gave my son this book when he was born. My husband reads to him everyday, and it is his favorite book. He loves the illustration, and the short rhymes. He gets so happy with one glance of the cover. Highly recommends this book to a newborn. He's 8 months and still loves it!

This is a very cute collection of Mother Goose rhymes. The book seems very sturdy, though I worry about the handle. I kindof wish it didn't have it. The illustrations are beautiful and bright. I hope that my son will love it.

My son loves this book. We bought it for his first birthday, and he frequently carries it over to my husband and I so we can read it to him. The illustrations are colorful and very cute, and the carrying handle is extremely sturdy.

I bought this as a baby shower gift. The pictures are really cute and quality of the book is very nice! I would recommend. I plan to purchase this same book for future "new baby" gifts! :)

While trying to find a gift for a 2 year-old I have never met, I came across this book. I decided to purchase it for her and purchased another for my 22 month-old twin grandaughters. They both really loved it the first time I read it to them and have wanted to sit and read it several times a day since. Usually, if a book is too wordy they become restless, but this book seems just right. They are both quiet and interested. You never really know how a child will respond to any book you buy, but I consider this one a "home run"! I highly recommend it.

Gorgeous, charming illustrations. A nice selection of Mother Goose rhymes; ten total. Sturdy, board book with a handle on the spine and a clip that holds the book closed. This book is a favorite of my one year old and my three year old.

I purchased this book as a shower gift for a friend a few years ago. When I found out I was expecting my own little one, I searched high and low to find it again for myself! The illustrations in this book are beautiful - full of color and excitement. And the Mother Goose verses are just as I remember them from my childhood. So many times in other books I have found that the words have been changed. But that is not the case with this book. My 5-month old loves looking at all the pretty pictures and listening to the nursery rhymes being read to him. I'm sure once he gets bigger, he'll love carrying the book around by the handy plastic handle. I would recommend this book to anyone, young or old!
