5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite feeder..., June 6, 2011
This review is from: First Nature 3055 32-ounce Hummingbird Feeder (Lawn & Patio)
I've purchased several different types of feeders over the past few years. I plan on replacing all of them with this model of feeder for the following reasons: First and foremost, it's very easy to clean, and clean throughly! Three simple parts, easy to dismantle and put back together. The mouth is large making it a snap to fill... no funnel needed. There are 10 feeding ports and a perch that goes all the way around. At dusk, I've seen 4 hummers on this feeder at the same time. I find they will say longer if they can perch and feed rather than hover and feed as with other feeders with no perch... although that is fun to watch as well. But for ease of cleaning (my #1 priority) and filling, this feeder is BY FAR the best I've found... and cheap. (Just don't put it in the dishwasher...)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Hummingbird Feeder, October 15, 2010

I previously bought this feeder and had wonderfully happy hummingbirds find their new food source within a few minutes! So, I bought two more, as I have a very greedy bird that doesn't like to share with others. The feeder holds alot of nectar. The perch goes all the way around, so there's ample while the birds feed. I highly recommend this feeder. The seller sends it out fast & it's packaged to prevent damage control.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Hummer Feeder Available, August 17, 2010

I have been feeding hummers for 15 years and was always upset that no one made a feeder that was easy to clean. I found the First Nature feeders a few years ago and "problem solved." You just take it apart into three pieces and scrub it with a dish washing brush, refill, and rehang. THE ONLY FEEDER YOU CAN CLEAN EASILY.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Feeder...period!, August 14, 2010
This review is from: First Nature 3055 32-ounce Hummingbird Feeder (Lawn & Patio)
this feeder is the bomb!... i've used all types through the years. when most feeders get little bacterial colonies growing, they're a hassle to clean-----this one is way easier---a small brush fits in the nectar container without a problem. ...take it from someone who goes through 5 lbs of sugar a week feeding hummers....this is the only feeder i'd ever buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Basic Feeder, August 9, 2010
This review is from: First Nature 3055 32-ounce Hummingbird Feeder (Lawn & Patio)
This is a great basic, no frills, hummingbird feeder. The base is in two pieces, making it easy to clean. The container for the sugar water has a large mouth, so you don't need a funnel to fill it. The container is also easy to clean. I have hung mine just outside our diningroom window, and I have no trouble seeing when it needs refilling...though I DON"T add red food coloring, which is a "no no". The birds love it and prefer it over another feeder which hangs nearby. I don't trust the plastic hanger, so I use the plastic coated wire from another feeder. My husband couldn't find the colorful strawberry-type feeder that I wanted, but this is much better...much easier to clean and fill than the strawberry it replaced. Mine is the 32 oz. size, though I have heard there is a 16 oz. size. Mine has to be cleaned and refilled almost every day to keep up with the hungry birds.

I was surprised to see how large the nectar compartment was. This is great! My last one was a little smaller which I also liked but I now prefer this size much better. We have a family of hummingbirds that come and visit frequently and the smaller one I use to have just didn't seem to hold enough nectar for them....
